Our Trustees

Strictly Wheels Foundation Trustees are responsible for the charity, its decisions and raising funds to support Wheelchair Dancing.

Paula Moulton (late) – Co-Founder

Sadly Paula passed away in June 2023.  A full time wheelchair user, she was a UK Wheelchair Dance Sport Ballroom and Latin Champion and competed at IPC level for Team GB.  She was passionate about Wheelchair Dance and inclusive sport as a whole.  Her legacy of Strictly Wheels will not be forgotten.

Gary Lyness – Co-Founder and Secretary 

Gary is the UK Wheelchair Dance Sport Ballroom and Latin Champion and competes at IPC level for Team GB.  Gary is an Operations Manager with a background working in HR, Financial Services and Digital Marketing.  He has a loved dance since his late teens and has danced in his twenties as a Butlin’s Redcoat and as founder and choreographer for Feverpitch, a cabaret show group.

Rebecca Bentham – Chairperson

Rebecca has ten years’ experience in the public sector having worked for a number of charities as a cross fundraiser.  Her work has covered corporate fundraising; Trusts, Foundation and Government and individuals.  Her specialty lies in that of Major Donor Giving.  Rebecca is also qualified with the MInstF (Cert), Certificate in Fundraising Management and a Fully Certified Member of the Institute of Fundraising.  Rebecca has a love of dance since a young age and is fully committed to supporting Wheelchair Dance Sport.

Caroline Colwill

Caroline is a highly skilled PRINCE2 project manager with extensive experience in the financial services industry, working on major change programmes with in blue chip financial services organisations.   Most recently she has been leading customer experience programmes and product design projects.  She is also a qualified Fitness Instructor and Nutrition Coach and passionate about sport and fitness for all.
